Poem 3: Do You Miss It Too

A long time ago

Yet not at all

We went to a school

That was very small

We never talk

About it very much

Not about any memories

None of the such

I want and wish to talk

About that kind of thing

But the words never come

For Inside me they stay and sting

So silent I will stay forever

Controlled by a strong power

That is greater than my own

And from it I will cower

Memories will stay memories

The past will stay the past

Forgotten people will stay forgotten

And our new life will be our last
